The ancient sound of the shamisen ride on the finest funk and the intense groove of Ishikawa. An extraordinary audiophile-quality recordings.

Oh how I long for this album in vinyl format! Such smoothness. Such warmth. Such execution. This music begs to be taken along and woven into memories. Hard to find a best track: this selection is excellent. Incredibly smooth funk, feeling effortless yet precise. The mixing of occidental rhythms with Japanese instruments and melodies is just perfect. I just wish for more! piloubaz
